Lukasz and Janice, are a husband and wife ownership team with a passion for architectural millwork. Janice, with a degree in business management from Bridgewater State University, runs the business operations. Lukasz holds a Construction Supervisors License, a Business Management degree, and studied Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He drives the day to day construction operations.
Lukasz’s initial foray into the construction industry was with the Braintree, MA-based Raycon Construction, a concrete construction contracting firm, where he quickly rose to Director of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day operations of this 150+ employee, $30-million-business.
Prior to starting WoodCraft Janice worked in marketing and ran and owned a successful business of her own. In 2012, the couple made the decision to partner with Lukasz’s step-father, Maciek Butkiewicz, to launch Woodcraft Designers & Builders. Prior to the start of WoodCraft, Maciek owned WW Woodworks, a similar millwork company out of Brockton, MA. Together, they guided the company’s expansion from WW Woodworks’ three employees to 40+ employees and increased annual revenues from $1M to $15M in just 7 years.
In 2021 Maciek successfully retired and Janice became 51% owner of WoodCraft, proudly making it a woman owned business. WoodCraft Designers & Builders was then rebranded as WoodCraft Millwork. Together, Janice and Lukasz’s knowledge spans over 18 years of experience in the industry. In their free time they enjoy camping and spending time with their three young children.
